Day 1: Created in God’s Image and Likeness
Reading: Genesis 1:1-3, 26-28
Devotional: You were not an accident. God purposefully created you in His image and likeness—to look like Him and act like Him. Before sin entered the world, Adam and Eve walked in perfect communion with God, operating in the spiritual realm with His Spirit breathed into them. They were created for success, blessing, and dominion. Through Christ, that original design has been restored to you. You are a new creation with the fullness of God dwelling within you. Today, reject the lie that you’re defined by your past or your struggles. You are recreated in Christ’s image to manifest His goodness, carry His Spirit, and walk in His blessing. Your identity is rooted in whose you are, not what you’ve done.
Day 2: Transformed by Renewing Your Mind
Reading: Romans 12:1-2; Colossians 1:13-14
Devotional: Jesus has transferred you from the dominion of darkness into the kingdom of light, but transformation requires the renewing of your mind. The old man is dead—stop dragging the corpse around. Religion may have taught you to expect struggle and defeat, but God’s Word declares victory and abundant life. Your Bible is your answer book. Study it before the test comes. When your confession doesn’t align with Scripture, one of you is wrong—and it’s not God. Speak what God says about your marriage, health, finances, and future, even when circumstances scream otherwise. Faith understands that the world was framed by God’s Word and is still held together by it. Let that same Word reshape your thinking today.
Day 3: Speaking Light into Darkness
Reading: Luke 6:43-45; Hebrews 11:3
Devotional: God didn’t acknowledge the darkness; He spoke light into it. When He said, “Let there be light,” darkness had no choice but to flee. You are a child of light, created to speak God’s solutions into dark situations. Out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth speaks. What treasure have you stored inside? The goodness of God dwells within you through the Holy Spirit. Don’t pretend problems don’t exist, but don’t magnify them either. See the problem, then speak the solution found in God’s Word. Your words carry creative power because you’re made in God’s image. Stop confessing defeat, sickness, and struggle. Start declaring God’s promises with boldness. The very fabric of the universe responds to the Word that created it—and that Word is alive in you.
Day 4: Prophesying to Dead Situations
Reading: Ezekiel 37:1-14; John 14:12
Devotional: God asked Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?” The situation looked hopeless—a valley full of dry bones. But God commanded the prophet to speak to the dead things. When Ezekiel prophesied God’s Word, breath entered the bones and they came to life. You face situations that look dead—relationships, dreams, health, finances. The world calls them hopeless, but God calls you to prophesy life. Jesus said you would do the same works He did and even greater. Don’t limit God based on what doctors, experts, or even well-meaning people say. If their words contradict God’s Word, choose God. Stand boldly for yourself, your family, and even strangers. Speak healing, restoration, and breakthrough. Your faith-filled words can resurrect what looks dead.
Day 5: Being Light in Your World
Reading: Matthew 5:14-16; John 1:1-5
Devotional: Jesus declared, “You are the light of the world.” Light doesn’t hide from darkness—it invades it. Wherever Christians withdraw, darkness fills the void. God hasn’t called you to be passive or dominated by the world’s system. He’s called you to be salt and light, bringing His kingdom into every sphere—your home, workplace, community, and beyond. You’re like a sample person at the store, offering tastes of God’s goodness to a hurting world. But you can’t give what you don’t have. Fill yourself with God’s Word and His presence. Let His light so shine through you that others see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. This year, be brave and bold. Step into the darkness as light, knowing darkness cannot overcome you.
